File storage and sharing.

Files uploaded on MyCommsuite are safely stored. Online file sharing makes instant collaboration possible between any number of users.

A media player that can handle photos, video, and music is provided. All content can also be shared with colleagues and friends.

News feeds.

A news RSS feed aggregator allows pertinent news and information to be accessed quickly and easily from within the unified communications interface. This puts additional knowledge from outside online sources at the fingertips of users.

Soft phone and IPPBX.

For on-net and off-net calling. This allows users to make voice calls using Internet telephony (VoIP) from their computers. Significant telephony cost savings are made possible using this technology. The SIP standard also allows usage of desktop phones and mobile phones to place VoIP calls. The IPPBX offers all relevant features like voicebox, call forwarding, call distribution, etc. needed by a business. The IVR allows creation of personalized menus.

Whiteboard

All data is backed up once a day. The backups of the last seven days are stored.

Frequently asked questions.

In what languages is the user interface available?

The interface language can be set either by the admin as a default or by the individual user. Many languages are currently already available. Other languages can be added easily.

How much bandwidth does VoIP need? What codecs do we use?

The GIPS codec (ISAC) we use is a very efficient codec. It provides crystal clear high definition quality at just 32kbps bandwidth. However, when there is less bandwidth available, the codec will reduce the quality to maintain the connection. Other HD codecs in the market (e.g. G.722) need 64Kbps—twice as much as the GIPS codec.
